When it comes to work, who you are and what you do are inseparable.

You are your instrument.

That makes you and what you do incredibly powerful, but it can also lead to feeling overwhelmed and stuck. .

About Zoe

Since I was teenager I have had a passion for personal growth. Growing up, I spent a good deal of time going back and forth between my dad in New York City and my mom in Los Angeles. And while there were certainly some benefits to being bicoastal, it also left me feeling ungrounded, anxious, and powerless.

From a young age I wanted to understand the intense feelings of anxiety, rage, and loss I felt on a daily basis. I wanted to learn how to stop trying to control everything through numbing out or acting out.

And I began to find answers as a teenager through family therapy and group therapy.

From then on, I knew I loved the balance of wisdom and compassion that therapy offered. But I wanted to explore other fields before choosing psychotherapy as my career.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education from The University of New Hampshire and began working as a wilderness guide for at-risk youth in British Columbia.

Eventually I went on to get my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University.

Currently I am licensed as an MFT for the state of California and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma.

I lead two psychotherapy groups and participate in a consultation group for therapists who run groups! I also teach meditation for companies, organizations, and private classes.

Over time, my experiences have led me to specialize in helping creative spirits find their best selves through therapy, meditation, and wilderness retreats.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive space to explore the inherent struggles of attaining and maintaining success.

I understand what it’s like when who you are and what you do are so interconnected that every decision seems overwhelming and every outcome seems personal. If trying to have it all feels futile, just know that you are not alone.

It is common for highly talented people to experience insecurity about their abilities, resentment for their sacrifices, and even disappointment that success isn’t what they imagined. Fortunately, I am here to support you in identifying your goals, clearing away the obstacles, and navigating a path forward – calmly and confidently.

Let’s get started!
